About Me
I have enjoyed a successful career as a marathon runner, competing for Germany
in the 2004 Olympic Games, World Championships (2003 and 2009) and European
Championships (2002 and 2006). The highlight of my running
career was winning gold at the European Championship in 2006.
Massages were an essential part of my recovery programme throughout my career,
enabling me to compete at international level for many years. Whilst I’m still
very active, (I love running and chatting with friends, and occasionally I
still compete at local races), this past year I also pursued my passion
and interest in massage, culminating in my qualification as a Level 3
Swedish Massage therapist. This is a perfect addition to my Level 4 Personal
Trainer/ Fitness Instructor qualification, and my qualification as a Level 1
Nutrition Coach and Group Instructor. Also, as a mum of two sporty boys,
it seemed only logical to qualify as a level 1 football coach as well.
I continue to enjoy studying and further expanding my knowledge of
massage and physiology, working closely with my clients in developing
an holistic approach to treating both athletes and non-athletes alike.
